Meet Our Educators

Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo

Dr. Phuntsog received her advanced degree from the prestigious Lhasa University School of Traditional Medicine in 1988. She dedicated numerous years to serving as a Tibetan Medicine practitioner in Eastern Tibet.

Her remarkable work included collaboration with A.S.I.A., the non-profit organization initiated by Professor Namkhai Norbu. Her contributions involved establishing hospitals and training centers in the remote regions of Sichuan Province and Chamdo Prefecture.

In 2007, she co-founded the American Tibetan Medical Association (ATMA), a national organization in the United States dedicated to representing and advancing the Tibetan medical profession.

Since 2012, Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo has assumed the role of International Director of the Shang Shung School of Tibetan Medicine with programs across the United States, Russia, and Europe.

Dzigar Kontrul Rinpoche

Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche was born in India into a family with an important background in spiritual practice. Recognized at the age of nine as the reincarnation of a respected Buddhist teacher, he received a traditional education in philosophy, meditation, and ethics under some of the most widely recognized Tibetan masters.

He moved to the United States in 1989 and has since focused on making these teachings accessible to people from all backgrounds. He founded "Mangala Shri Bhuti", an organization that supports those interested in bringing awareness, compassion, and insight into daily life.

In addition to teaching, Rinpoche is an abstract painter and the author of several books that explore how ancient wisdom can help us meet the challenges of the modern world with clarity and kindness.

Arnaud Coquillard

Arnaud has been interested in learning and teaching from a young age. While traveling around the world to study various educational frameworks, he met his two main sources of inspiration in 2008: Professor Namkhai Norbu and his son Yeshi Silvano Namkhai. Since then, he has devoted his life to understanding their teachings on how to relax and live as a free individual.

Arnaud lives on a small hobby farm with his extended family in Australia. When he is not teaching meditation retreats and other events focused on presence and awareness around the world, he works as a secondary school teacher. He has also recently published a card game called 'Dranzhin,' designed to develop presence and awareness.

His passion for innovative educational approaches leads him to continuously study, observe, and learn what works best in that field. Arnaud also loves spending time in nature and with loved ones.

Leticia Recepter

Leticia was born in Buenos Aires and holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. She has spent many years exploring yoga and body-based healing practices.

She completed 200 hours of Hatha Yoga training and 500 hours of Tantra Yoga in India, and also trained in Kids and Family Yoga through the Rainbow Kids Yoga School.

Leticia has been a student of Professor Chögyal Namkhai Norbu since 2007. She is authorized to teach second-level Yantra Yoga, as well as Kumar Kumari (Tibetan Yoga for children) and the Respira Method.

Since 2020, she has been collaborating with the Yantra Yoga Department of the International Atiyoga Foundation.

She currently works at the School of Tibetan Medicine in Europe, where she contributes to educational and communication projects.

Who is This Workshop Designed For?

This course is for anyone who wants to bring more ease into daily life.

It’s especially suited for those who:
✓Wish to slow down and live with more awareness
✓Often feel caught in a fast rhythm and are looking for a more balanced way to move through the day
✓Are looking for simple tools to reconnect with themselves through breath, gentle movement, and observation
✓Feel inspired by the principles of Tibetan Medicine and Buddhist wisdom as a path to inner balance
✓Want to explore how presence can be cultivated in everyday routines

Through this course, we invite you to return to a quieter rhythm where awareness and simplicity can grow naturally. No previous experience is required.

Session I: Exploring Presence through Tibetan Medicine and Buddhist Wisdom

In the first session, Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche will offer reflections from a more academic and contemplative perspective within the Buddhist tradition. At the same time, Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo will share practical and inspirational insights from the viewpoint of Traditional Tibetan Medicine, where mind and body are seen as deeply interconnected.

We are honored to be joined by two highly respected teachers, whose presence alone is a source of inspiration.

Session II: A Gentle Time to Breathe and Meditate Together

In the second session, Arnaud Coquillard and Leticia Recepter will create a gentle space to share and explore, using the mind,  the breath, and the movement as a starting point to notice how small shifts in awareness can support us in daily life. This is an open invitation to explore what resonates better with each person.
