Nourishing Sleep

A gentle way to prepare for restful sleep with guidance from Tibetan Medicine and Breathwork

We often hear about the importance of exercise and healthy eating.  These habits are easy to recognize, widely accepted, and often reinforced. Sleep, somehow, doesn’t always receive the same attention.

Sleep is a vital process for both the body and the brain. While we sleep, the brain remains highly active — processing information, supporting memory, regulating the nervous system, and restoring balance. At the same time, the body repairs tissues, strengthens the immune system, and resets key functions that sustain our overall health. It is also a key moment for our energy to be restored, supporting clarity, stability, and resilience throughout the day.

Eight hours of sleep — or sometimes even more — is not a luxury, but something the body truly needs. And it’s not only about the hours, but the quality of that rest. Deep, uninterrupted sleep is what allows us to restore energy, reset, and meet the next day with clarity.

Without it, even the best diet or exercise routine cannot fully support our wellbeing.

We invite you to join this practical workshop, where you will learn and experience a simple, step-by-step relaxing bedtime routine rooted in Tibetan healing knowledge.

Among the many approaches to sleep, we will share simple guidance, breathing exercises, and self-care routines — easy to integrate into daily life, yet with the potential to make a meaningful difference in the quality of your sleep.

Tibetan Doctor Phuntsog Wangmo, with her deep knowledge and expertise, together with Yantra Yoga teacher Leticia Recepter, will guide you through this process.
