Every moment of our lives, the heart works tirelessly for us.
Day and night, without asking for attention, it supports the circulation of blood throughout the body, nourishing our tissues and sustaining life itself. Yet in the midst of busy schedules and daily responsibilities, it is easy to take this remarkable organ for granted.
The heart is considered to be the king of all organs in Tibetan Medicine, indicating its precious value for our healthy body and long life. That is why it’s important to learn to care for the heart and pay attention to blood pressure.
High blood pressure has become a common symptom in the modern world, and although it often goes unnoticed at first, it can lead to serious complications over time.
Healthy circulation is equally important, as it allows blood and nutrients to reach every part of the body and supports the proper functioning of all organs and tissues. When circulation is affected, the body may not receive the nourishment it needs, and various imbalances can arise over time.
In this webinar, we will explore heart health and blood pressure from the perspective of Tibetan Medicine. We will discuss some of the factors that may contribute to imbalance and share practical approaches that can help support the health of the heart and circulatory system.
In our workshop Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo will share the Tibetan Medicine view on heart health and blood pressure.
She will explain the role of the heart within the Tibetan medical tradition, explore some of the factors that may contribute to imbalance, and discuss practical approaches for supporting cardiovascular health. Participants will also learn about the importance of circulation and how diet, lifestyle, and daily habits can influence the health of the heart and blood vessels over time.
This workshop is intended for anyone interested in learning more about heart health through the perspective of Tibetan Medicine and gaining practical knowledge that can be applied in everyday life.
