Skin Health

Natural skin care through diet, lifestyle, and Tibetan Wisdom

Skin is seen as the largest organ in the body. It carries an important protective role, while also regulates body temperature, and is responsible for the sense of touch.

The appearance of the skin is often a reflection of our internal health and the way the body is functioning as a whole.

Beyond appearance alone, the skin can also express vitality, warmth, and a natural inner glow that changes throughout different stages of life and according to the way we live, eat, rest, and care for ourselves.

In the modern world, many people experience skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, irritation, and sensitivity, often from an early age. At the same time, there is a growing cultural pressure around appearance, youth, and the idea of preventing aging at all costs.

From increasingly young ages, people are exposed to constant messages about perfect skin, beauty standards, and the need for excessive cosmetic products and treatments. At the same time, many common skin conditions today are also connected with irritation, inflammation, overstimulation, and the rhythms of modern life.

In many cases, the skin is approached only from the outside, without considering that its appearance may also reflect deeper aspects related to diet, rest, digestion, lifestyle, and the internal condition of the body.

We invite you to join this online workshop on Skin Health through the perspective of Tibetan Medicine.

In Tibetan Medicine, the skin is connected with the fire element (mkhris pa) and understood in close relationship with digestion, emotions, lifestyle, and the internal condition of the body.

During the workshop, we will explore:
♡ The connection between skin health and digestion ♡ How emotional imbalance and overstimulation can affect the skin ♡ Diet and lifestyle related to skin health ♡ Natural ways to care for the skin according to Tibetan Medicine
